Planning a Long Stay at Forseti Athena: A Week, a Month or a Year

A long stay asks different things of a place than a weekend does. You need a kitchen you will actually use, a pace that lets you work or rest, and everyday errands within easy reach. Forseti Athena suits that kind of stay: every suite has its own kitchen, the house is quiet, and it sits in Padangsambian, a short ride from the beaches of Seminyak. Here is how to plan a week, a month or longer.

What the Weekly, Monthly and Yearly offers include

Three offers are written for longer stays. Each lists slightly different things, so it is worth reading them closely:

• Weekly Package: six nights in a modern suite with its own kitchen, weekly housekeeping, access to the pool and lounge, and high-speed internet.
• Monthly Offer: a month in a modern suite with its own kitchen, access to the pool and lounge, and high-speed internet.
• Yearly Offer: a year in a modern suite with its own kitchen, scheduled housekeeping, access to the pool and lounge, high-speed internet and a butler available on request. Rates are on request.

Housekeeping appears in the Weekly and Yearly offers but not in the Monthly one, so if you would like it during a monthly stay, raise it when you arrange your dates. The offers page has the current details of each package.

Arranging your stay over WhatsApp

The nightly Best Available Rate is booked on the booking page, where the rate, deposit and cancellation conditions are shown before you pay. The Weekly, Monthly and Yearly offers, like the 3 Days 2 Nights package, are arranged with the ARM reservations team over WhatsApp. A clear first message saves a round of questions: your dates, the number of guests and the suite you have in mind. The Studio and the Suite are for two guests, and the Penthouse is for up to four. Mention anything that matters to you, such as an early arrival: check-in is from 14:00 and check-out by 12:00, and any flexibility depends on availability. A daily rhythm: kitchen, pool and lounge

On a long stay, the kitchen is what turns a suite into a home. Each one has a stovetop, refrigerator, oven and kitchenware, so you can do a weekly shop, keep breakfast at home and cook dinner when you feel like it. None of the offers lists breakfast, and the rates on the booking page are room only, so the kitchen will see real use.

The courtyard pool, with its wooden deck and loungers, is there for a cool swim in the afternoon, and the lounge, with deep sofas and art on the walls, is a quiet place to read, catch up on work or meet friends. Layout matters more over weeks than over days: the Suite's separate bedroom and dining area suit anyone who works from their room, while the Penthouse gives a family two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Errands and the neighbourhood

For shopping, Trans Studio Mall Bali is about 3.6 km by road and Seminyak Village about 3.9 km. The house is in Denpasar itself, the island's capital, and Puputan Badung Square in the city centre is about 8.4 km by road. The ride-hailing apps Gojek and Grab are the easiest way to get around by car or motorbike, and both also deliver food, which helps on a rainy evening; the rainy season runs roughly from November to March. Travel time depends on traffic, so group your errands into one trip where you can. On free afternoons, Double Six Beach (about 3.3 km by road) and Seminyak Beach (about 3.5 km) are close enough for the west-coast sunset.
